So I went on a journey to come up with our own Dead Cow Café Style Baked Potato — and MAN, was that journey worth it!

We’re keeping part of this one a Dead Cow secret. 🤫 It’s our special seasoning and the way we prepare these potatoes that makes them something you’ve got to taste to believe.

Then we load ’em up with all the good stuff — meat, cheese, sour cream, chives, bacon and butter!

I just wanted to take a minute and share why we opened the Dead Cow Café.

This was never just about opening another place to eat.

God placed it on my heart that we needed to be out in our community more—meeting people, building relationships, praying with people, loving on families, and simply being there for our neighbors.

God has blessed us in an incredible way. Because of where we are located, we have basically no overhead, and He has connected us with some awesome vendors. That allows us to keep our prices competitive with the bigger restaurants while still serving good food and giving people plenty to eat.

And God has just continued to open door after door.

In just a little over a month, more than 2,500 customers have walked through the doors of the Dead Cow Café right here in little Ace, Texas! We are hitting our goals almost every single day, and I could not be more pleased—or more thankful—for what God is doing.

But the best part isn’t a number on a sales report.

It’s the people.

It’s getting to know our community better. It’s seeing familiar faces come back. It’s meeting new families. It’s having opportunities to encourage someone, pray with someone, laugh together, and hopefully make somebody’s day just a little better.

So from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! Thank you to everyone who has eaten with us, shared our posts, told somebody about us, brought your family, or simply encouraged us. Y’all are the reason this little café in Ace is growing.

And remember—Christmas is coming! 🎄❤️

We plan to be right back out in our community again this year with the hayride, passing out presents, and spreading some Christmas joy to families and children in our area.
