GraceFull's mission is to bring people together over a fresh meal while providing opportunities to build new connections and find inspiration for serving their own community and world. Operations will be staffed mainly by volunteers and we will also focus on community outreach programs through our related non-profit entity, GraceFull Foundation.

After nearly a decade of gathering, eating, and giving together, GraceFull Foundation has come to a close. Our gratitude remains for every meal shared, every volunteer hour given, and every story shared.

Starting Monday, February 17th, The Life Center, just a 20 minute walk from GraceFull Cafe, will provide a free lunch Monday through Friday, for the next 4 weeks and 2 days a week for an additional 2 more weeks. The Foundation will cater these lunches from Cafe 180, another nonprofit in Englewood that works to address food insecurity. This new program will require all hands on deck - with volunteers needed at both organizations to help make this transition feasible.

We will share more with our amazing volunteers in the days to come to invite you to check out volunteer opportunities with our partners.

We at GraceFull Foundation are deeply saddened by the announcement from Troy and Heather, but fully support their decision. The Foundation Board’s primary goal during this transition is to uphold the spirit of the mission articulated above. For the next several weeks the Foundation will be partnering with the Life Center and Cafe 180 to ensure our Grace in Action guests (those that are unable to fully pay for a meal) have access to lunch and resource options to help them through this transition.

The mission of GraceFull Foundation lives beyond the brick and mortar cafe. GraceFull was built on invitation into community and we now invite you to continue living out the purpose and priorities we passionately believe in and that you invested in alongside us. GraceFull’s mission is not limited by location, it is a position of the heart, and as a board, we encourage each of you to cultivate a healthier, more connected and stronger community wherever you go.

Please know we are evaluating several options for what comes next in the Foundation’s work. In the meantime, we want to sincerely thank our wonderful partner organizations, donors, and our dedicated volunteers and staff, all of whom made GraceFull Cafe the community institution it became in Littleton over the last 8+ years.

Dear GraceFull Community,

Each of you has been an integral part of GraceFull, investing your time, resources, energy, and love into this incredible journey – a journey built on a mission of: Cultivating a healthier, more connected and stronger community by providing a home in Littleton where people of all backgrounds can gather, eat well and be inspired to give back.

Over the past 8+ years, we have been blessed with countless life-changing beautiful memories ‒ seeing friends transition off the streets; sharing in community breakfasts; meeting new guests; enjoying a burrito, a cup of coffee and great conversation; witnessing the selflessness of our volunteers; and seeing the dedication of our amazing staff. Each of you made GraceFull a true community ‒ a place where everyone had a seat at the table and was invited to be seen and valued.

Over the last two years we have seen increasingly challenging times. In our hearts, we always wanted to be able to end well as we were entrusted with much. Unfortunately, it has become too much for us to sustain this work in a healthy way for our family. It is with heavy hearts, we are sharing that GraceFull Community Cafe is permanently closed.

We know this news will bring grief and sadness, and our hearts ache alongside yours. GraceFull was something our family poured everything into and invited you to join us —it was both beautiful and hard. While this chapter is coming to an end, please know how deeply grateful we are for each of you. Your presence, kindness, generosity, and belief in our mission have meant more than words can express. We believe in this community and it is our hope that each person who has been touched by GraceFull will, in their own way, continue to share the values and spirit that have guided our work.

We have entrusted the transition process of the Foundation’s mission to the GraceFull Foundation Board and its Executive Director, Shantelle, who will help guide the next steps.

Our amazing GraceFull community,

As you may have seen or heard, the cafe was closed on Saturday, February 8th. Heather has decided to close the cafe this week (Feb 11-15) to focus on personal matters. We appreciate your patience and support. Watch for additional updates via email and our social media pages.

“I do art for my depression. It often has something sentimental in it. I usually give my art to people I care about.”

Zach came for pancakes this morning and brought his colorful, lively art. After helping to build a stage for Justin Timberlake’s concert last night, he had trouble finding a place to rest all night. He ended up sleeping part of the night in downtown Denver and another part in Englewood. He says he got so cold, his fingers are still burning.

This is why we come to GraceFull. It’s a space where we can share what inspires us, the hard stuff, and we can share a meal in the process.
