Goodbye.

With only one more day remaining— this Tuesday, Dec 23rd—I just want to say how incredibly thankful I am to everyone who stopped in this weekend to say goodbye.

This weekend has been overwhelming in the very best way. The number of people who came in, the cards, the hugs, the shared memories, and even the tears have meant more to me than I can put into words. I never truly realized how much this place meant to so many of you, but I have always known how much you have meant to me.

I’ve loved watching your children and grandchildren grow, sharing quick chats across the counter or at the table, and celebrating life together—the ups and the downs. You’ve watched my family grow as well, and you’ve been there through my own milestones: weddings, births, the purchase of my new business, and also through the harder moments like losses and surgeries.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the past seven years. You have made me feel incredibly blessed, and I will carry these memories with me always. I truly hope to see all of you from time to time at the Whistle Stop.
