PLEASE READ AND HELP!
IT'S TIME!!!
Ron and I have wanted to have a "cafe" for years to help support the youth of our community. God used us in several different ways over the years to pour into the lives of youth.
With the recent su***de of yet another Arapahoe High student (I am trying to add the post of Lawren Lawren Heinisch to this.... I will tag her for sure so you can see her post) I became enraged at all of the people I know who have been effected by the admin at AHS in one way or another. This post isn't to slam AHS but to help shine light on a problem that is real.... Our children, students and youth of our communities need help!!
Fast forward15 years, a major life change and a move to a small community...ADD Lisa Lane,,,,,,
We have issues in every district I have been in with depression, hopelessness and su***de.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!!
We have found a place to have our "cafe". We have outpouring support from those in our community. We NEED funding...... The amount sounds huge but if you could see the place you'd realize how perfect it is and that $175,000 isn't a bad price for a 5000 square foot buidling with a fully functional restuarant to support the project.... I am willing to share pictures and more info if you'd like.
We want to have a place where people can come, have a warm meal, have internet access, learn different skills, and just feel loved!!! This is not to take away from any other youth programs in the county just another avenue.
PLEASE HELP US STOP THIS TREND...
We will be creating a GoFundMe page... I know this is a vague post. I will also be creating a page for "A Home @ Fireside" that will be explaining more!!!
