The restaurant has been a dream in the making since they moved to Denver from New Orleans, in 1993. Brian & Sonda enjoy dining out, which is usually the preferred past time of native New Orleans folk. "Growing up with the flair of seasonings, sauces, gravy, blackening and cajun spices, our taste buds felt homesick for New Orleans flavor," says Sonda. "We knew right away that NoNo's Cafe would be a

unique concept in this area. The response we've received in four years has been phenomenal." We love being at the restaurant...it doesn't feel like work. We feel like the customers are guests in our home, which is most important to us as owners. We've been rewarded time and again by relationships we've built with our customers and staff -- our "family."

Nono’s Sausage Classico
Grilled Italian sausage patty smothered with peppers and onions, marinara, and mozzarella then served over angel hair pasta.
Nono’s Sausage Classico Sandwich
Grilled Italian sausage patty, peppers and onions, marinara, and mozzarella on French bread. Served with Zapp’s chips.

We bring these back because they are so popular.

After traveling all day we were looking for a place that had something good and not ordinary bar food. This little cajun restaurant has a little bit of everything! Food was excellent, service was beyond amazing and we left feeling like we had made nee friends. Bree is one of the friendliest servers I have come across in a very long time. I will come back here just to have the pleasure of her service. Blackened ribeye was beautifully prepared and my husband's shrimp po-boy was amazing. Stop in here. You won't be disappointed."
