Hey guys just to clarify the local who started the fundraiser is the relative of one of the owners .. we didn’t address it not to be misleading or wasn’t our extent it was excluded because we didn’t think it was relative she is in fact motivated by her own wants … breakfast daily before work .. just to be clear the issue here is we had a estimate to install a piece of equipment total install was quoted for $8000 which is what we used for our business plan .. we had a mishap with this installer where they were not truthful and the install ended up costing up to $22,000 for the same install so that’s where we are that’s what happened after investing $100,000 and budgeting accordingly we find ourselves short due to this misunderstanding and we are trying to get over the finish line asap she is trying to help us get there faster. That is all it is wasn’t suppose to cause issues it is wasn’t suppose to be misleading make no mistake we will get there maybe taking a bit longer but we WILL GET THERE.

Hey guys! If anyone able to help us get our dream over the finish line some of our biggest fans have set this up to try to help .. and let’s be honest its also so they have a local breakfast place thats not fast food! Either way we’re pretty stalled we’ve got our entire nest egg invested and due to an estimate mishap we are completely stalled .. we are doing anything we possibly can on our end but your help would mean a lot if you can donate that would be amazing if you can’t at least share our story and check out our page !

Since everyone has been asking here's a update! Our opening has been delayed :( Due to more issues with Thano's (That pesky 8 foot hood system). After we got ghosted by the installer we originally planned to use and finally found someone who is willing to install it for us .. unfortunately he works the OBX area and the install price is three times as much as we budgeted for. We are still moving forward, we have all of our equipment and are working on getting things installed. We will still open, our dream will still come to fruition , just slower. We are working on doing what we can to rally more funding!
That being said there is a local that is impatiently waiting for a regular breakfast spot that is trying to help! She has set up a Go Fund Me fundraiser. While we are not taking the lead on the fundraiser if you are intrested in helping or sharing we will post it on our page. If we get community support we will have a give back communuty day to thank everyone! We also want to offer anyone that donates $50 or more a chance to participate in a raffle to win a $200 gift card from The Corner Kitchen!
While we realize not everyone will be supportive of helping we do ask that you keep any negative vibes to yourself. This sweet girl is just trying to help the community grow and is motivated by bacon and pancakes (LOL).
