Little Rock-based Southern Tail Brewing is moving into the Northwest Arkansas craft beer market with a deal to acquire Orthodox Farmhouse Brewery in Goshen. It's Southern Tail Brewing's first expansion by acquisition, and the deal includes Orthodox Farmhouse's property, brand and facilities in full.

Southern Tail is a dog-friendly brewpub, restaurant and event center that opened at 900 E. Ninth St. in Little Rock almost two years ago. Orthodox Farmhouse was founded in 2023 as an American farmhouse brewery known for its small-batch beers with a distinct Belgian influence.

A new chapter is taking shape. 🍻

We’re incredibly excited to share that Southern Tail Brewing will be the next steward of Orthodox Farmhouse Brewery in Goshen, Arkansas.

Jesse and Ashlyn built something truly special at Orthodox, and we’re honored they’ve trusted Brent and Tracy to carry it forward. Orthodox will continue to brew in Goshen, operate under its own name and identity, and stay rooted in the farmhouse character, traditions, and hospitality that made it a destination in the first place.

For Southern Tail, this isn’t about making two breweries the same. It’s about bringing together two distinctly different places with a shared belief in great beer, genuine hospitality, and creating experiences worth coming back for.

We’re grateful for what’s been built, excited for what’s ahead, and ready to welcome you into this next chapter.

Here’s to Orthodox, Southern Tail, and wherever the road takes us next. 🍻
