We are hiring for a gardener/grounds person. This is a part time position, weekdays 3 or 4 days a week. Experience with gardening is a big plus... knowing some basic plants and weeds for instance. Besides gardening there is also raking, leaf blowing, watering gardens, planting and digging up bulbs, splitting and stacking firewood, and helping with general maintenance and organizing in the restaurant (putting away deliveries, painting, dusting, cleaning, washing floors etc) The job will include plenty of bending over & lifting. For the most part there will not be any lawn mowing or string trimming although you will have to drive the lawn lower to pull the garden trailer around.
Pay depends a good deal on experience and productivity. Starting pay is 17.25 per hour unless experience warrants more, with raises to follow.
