Today we hang up our aprons. was just a girl with a dream, but it turned into something that we could never have imagined. We love our brand and our product, but most importantly we love the people and genuine connections we have made… our Taco community.. the Eleanors, the Bruces, the Paul and Joeys, the Quinoa Davids, the Jaleel and Anitas, the hundreds of people who have been there with us for 8+ years. YOU ARE OUR WHOLE HEART. You are the reason we gave it everything we had. We survived Covid, but the monster that came after was too difficult to ignore. Our food cost has more than tripled, but our prices remained almost untouched. Our staff was well paid, even if it meant we couldn’t pay ourselves. We are small business owners, striving to give our customers the best product, but we were always still human. We have bad days, sometimes the actions or words of an employee are out of our control, but everything we do is reviewed and judged for public display, usually by people with no culinary skill or knowledge. The amount of stress and passion that are required to run a business and to keep it going each and every day is underrated. 2026 is our year, we are choosing our children, our family and our mental and physical wellbeing. We are ready for the next chapter of our lives. We will miss you. We will continue running the food truck, so please follow us on Social media for future event details.
There has been this cruel shift in humanity in the last year. What makes our America magical, is its diversity. Culture diversity. Culinary diversity. It’s ok to different. Do not be threatened by diversity. Celebrate it and be kind to each other. We are nothing without community.
