What a treat it was serving Howdy at UT Southwestern Medical Center this week! 🍦💙

Did you know they currently have a curriculum focused on caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and neurodiverse populations? This is such an important step forward in healthcare, helping future medical professionals better understand and serve people of all abilities.

Too often, individuals with IDD and neurodiversity face barriers when accessing healthcare. Seeing students actively learning how to create a more inclusive, accommodating, and compassionate medical experience gives us so much hope for the future.

We were honored to be part of their day, share some delicious ice cream, and meet students who are helping make the world a more welcoming place for everyone. 🍦✨
