☕ NEW ROAST: East Java Mt. Ijen Natural
We’re excited to introduce something a little special to our in-house roasted lineup.
Our East Java Mt. Ijen Natural comes from the Besoeki region surrounding Mount Ijen in East Java, Indonesia, where Arabica coffee is grown at elevations of 1,000–1,800 MASL.
This lot is processed by Kevenka, a collaboration between brothers Kevin and Kenny, who work with nearly 400 smallholder farmers in the region. Many of these farms grow coffee under shade alongside crops like chilies and beans, providing additional income for farming families.
After harvest, the cherries are carefully sorted, including optical sorting to select the ripest fruit, before being naturally dried for 11–13 days. The coffee then goes through hulling and final quality control before making its way to us, where we roast it fresh in-house.
The result? A sweet, well-rounded cup with notes of:

We especially love this coffee at a lighter-to-medium roast, where its jammy fruit and natural sweetness really get a chance to shine.
