“Not just a coffee shop” and we are pretty happy about it. Being able to share local independent small businesses and their products, alongside big brands with big meaningful stories, our “coffee shop” is much more than great drinks and homemade food and pastries. We don't even know where to begin with the beautiful plethora of art that has made it's way in to our lives. Local and independent artists who are in alignment with their talent have brought to light some of the most beautiful pieces, and we are so grateful for them putting their creativity to paper/canvas for us to enjoy. We encourage you, whether you are just visiting, waiting for your food or bevy, or looking to add some color to your own walls at home...that you slow down and look at the beauty of all the hand selected pieces that adorn the walls of Salt. When we tell you we are obsessed with flavors, food, and fun... we mean it...and we can prove it by the carefully curated cookbooks on our shelves. Our current favs? More is More, Sweet Tooth, and That Sounds Good! In the kitchen this month, we have been slingin' Turkey Reubens like there's no tomorrow. Garlic toasted goodness with a captivating flavor profile, we added a touch of our own magic to this classic sandwich. We've always loved adding to our shelves some new kitchen pantry goodness! Carefully crafted seasonings from Sous Salt, and a lovely mix of Olive Oil and Vinegars from Durant Farms in Dayton, Oregon. We love it here... and we are pretty sure you will, too!

Not only do we have fresh pastries, we also have a fresh new space! After a little rearrange while our staff was out at their yearly Stumptown training, we took a couple days to not only add fun new seating, but also new merch and gorgeous art. From original posters from the 1800’s to local artists and artisans, we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve done! Open 9-5, and ready for smiling faces!

Happy Sunday!! Tara’s Cinnamon rolls are the freshest and fluffiest cinnamon roll you’ll ever have. Roasted green apples smothered in a cinnamon mixture of glory on top of homemade icing… the cinnamon roll itself (homemade, with the perfect overnight rise) will have you asking yourself “what is this magical fluffy perfection and how is it possible to love something so much?”
