WHAT IS A BREAKFAST TEA?
In general, a breakfast tea is a strong blend of black tea, providing both a higher caffeine content, and a robust flavor to go with a hearty breakfast. Often, these teas are drunk with milk and sugar, and accordingly, they must be strong enough to keep their flavor when milk is added. This contrasts with the character of some lighter black teas (served without milk) such as Darjeeling, which is often served with afternoon tea.
