Named after the river that ripples and flows alongside it, The Elkhorn Tavern is a lounge and taproom for the Barrel House Distilling Co. to showcase our inventive cocktails using house-made liquors. Whether it’s our Pure Blue Vodka, Devil John Moonshine, Kentucky Oak Rum, or RockCastle Bourbon, each fine spirit is made with an old-school approach and implemented in creative ways. Sample our products while learning about the distilling heritage and what makes Lexington’s distilling culture so unique. Then relax in front of the fireplace or at a private table to simply enjoy your visit. We have select beers and wines, too -- no one will go unsatisfied!
