Golden crumb, a whisper of fresh rosemary, and good olive oil doing quiet, beautiful work. Our Rosemary Olive Oil Muffin is what happens when a savory herb wanders into a sweet corner and decides to stay.

Olive oil keeps the crumb impossibly tender and moist, with a richness butter can’t quite reach. The rosemary threads through it all: earthy, a little piney, grounding the sweetness so every bite tastes like it belongs on a slow morning. A dusting of powdered sugar on top, a sprig of rosemary for good measure.

From the Poli family’s distillery, crafting Italian grappa since 1898. Our shelf features their Cleopatra Moscato Oro — a 95-point Ultimate Spirits Challenge winner — alongside the smooth, honeyed Arzente Brandy and a lineup of single-varietal grappe like Vespaiolo.

Sip it neat after dinner, pour it over ice, or let it lift your espresso into a proper caffè corretto. However you take it, this is a little taste of the Veneto right here at the shop. 🇮🇹

There’s something a little decadent about pulling a shot and reaching for a square of chocolate to go with it. This one earns the ceremony: Thomas Keller and Armando Manni’s K+M milk chocolate, made with extra-virgin olive oil, coffee, and sea salt.

Take a sip of espresso, then let a piece melt slow. The bar’s own coffee notes echo the shot, the olive oil rounds everything out silky and smooth, and the sea salt lands right at the end to keep it from ever getting too sweet. Bitter, rich, a little savory, a little bright — the kind of pairing that makes you slow down and pay attention.

New at Sirius Café: goat milk gelato sandwiches.

We took Goat & Pail gelato — made just down the road in Fairbury, IL — and pressed it between two pan-banged chocolate chip cookies with those crackly, rippled edges we’re a little obsessed with. Rich, clean vanilla-flecked gelato meets a chewy, buttery cookie with crisp lacy edges. The kind of thing that starts melting the second you pick it up, in the best way.

Made fresh, in-house. Get one while the weather’s warm and the gelato’s cold.
