Hey Freaky Pear Family! 🤪 Due to personal reasons, we’ll no longer be operating the kitchen at West Bend Bar & Venue 😞. But don’t worry – amazing food will still be available at West Bend!

You can still catch us on the Food Truck, serving up all your favorites at Jugg Heads in Winston.

We wish West Bend all the best and encourage everyone to show them some love and support!

Just incase you’re new to this page, we wanted to clear up some confusion about The Rustic Pear and West Bend Bar & Venue. Or as some are starting call ‘The Freaky Pear’ 🤪

When we took over the kitchen, our intention was to offer a different menu, but we realized it didn’t quite fit the vibe of West Bend’s live music scene and that’s ok! Sometimes you don’t know unless you try 🤷🏻‍♀️. In order to produce what Chef’s vision is of The Rustic Pear, it will exclusively be a private dining experiences. 🍽️✨

West Bend will continue to offer food, just powered by our other brand, Food Freaks Unique Burger Co.🍔

🎉If you’re looking to host any type of event whether it be a wedding, company party, engagement party, or baby shower, we have plenty of options for you!🎉

Moving forward, posts about West Bend events and food will come from their West Bend page West Bend Bar & Venue, and private dining events will come from The Rustic Pear page. We appreciate all your support and look forward to our next dining experience soon!!

Tonight’s Feature is Food Freaks Not so Philly cheesesteak!!

West Bend Bar & Venue 5-9 tonight!! Hand shaved steak grilled with onions peppers and mushrooms topped with white American and served on authentic Amoroso bun footlong with mayo or get with jalapeĂąos and sriracha Mayo to spice it up!!

Come try this if you haven’t you’ll know once you do why this is one of our most requested handhelds! If you missed the Pit roast we will have it as a feature entree tonight!!

A couple of new burgers this weekend….
🚨Twisted Godfather- Angus Patty w/pepperoni, salami, thinly sliced fried Mozz block topped with our house made marina sauce.

🚨Sweet OR Angry Carolina Burger. Angus Patty, House made chili and slaw, cheddar and onions. (If you can stand the heat, the Angry gets Habanero Chili and Jalapeño slaw 🔥)

Sorry for late post! We’ve been listening to your feedback and testing out some new ideas and we’re ready to make some changes that we think you’re going to love! 🙌🏻

Chef and creator of The Rustic Pear will still be serving up delicious dishes at West Bend Bar & Venue, however, some of you may know Chef Cassidy from his original brand, Food Freaks of NC - Food Truck ., established in 2013. We’ve given this a lot of thought over the last week and decided to bring more of the Food Freaks concept into the kitchen! You’ll still be able to enjoy some favorites that you’ve grown to love from The Rustic Pear but we’ll be bringing in a bit more of our signature twist of our food freaks burgers and sides to enjoy…with features and specials! 🎉

The Rustic Pear will still bring you an amazing dining experience, but we’re now going to offer it as a private dining experience only. Stay tuned for exclusive nights with chef-driven dishes and unique experiences you won’t want to miss! 🍽️✨

This weekend as other items we have our Sweet Carolina Burger OR for the heat enthusiast we have the Angry Carolina—- both with our signature food freaks chili, slaw, and fresh onions with cheddar… the angry adds fresh cut habaneros and jalapeño slaw!!!!…. If you know about Food Freaks then come check out the West Bend version this weekend.

Also a new featured entree is our Demi Glaze Pot Roast with Gruyère mashed potatoes and bacon green bean bake! 😋

We will have ——… today the rustic pear kitchen West Bend Bar & Venue 11-2

the heavily requested Biscuits -N- Gravy! Homemade buttermilk biscuits pan seared in maple butter, topped with a hearty sausage gravy and two eggs cooked to order!

Also we have sweet strawberry basil Biscuits! We grill this biscuit in a lemon butter then top it with housemade strawberry basil sauce!

And our feature!! entree is Shrimp N French toast! Pan fried shrimp on polenta with griddle French toast topped with light cream cheese whip, a candied jalapeno & bacon jam drizzled with a maple glaze

Starts 11 ends at 2pm kitchen will shut down for other prep!

Michael Thomas Chaney music starts at 2 and the soulful tunes last until 5!

We have some exciting brunch items including biscuits and gravy along with a few surprises!!!…. for Sunday from 11-2! We close the kitchen at 2 for a private event off site. Michael Thomas Chaney music will play 2-5 come enjoy cool vibes and good drinks! Eat, stay and enjoy tunes! However it was previously posted that food would be served from 2-5 from the old menu however the kitchen will be closed at 2! Sorry for the mis representation by West Bend Bar & Venue.

Come see us at West Bend Bar & Venue!! Tonight 5-9 (Saturday) and 11-2 tomorrow with some brunch features! Closing the kitchen at 2pm Sunday for a superbowl cater we have to do but Michael Thomas Chaney music will be playing so eat..stay for the tunes!

We are very appreciative of the warm welcome from our foodie patrons at The Rustic Pear kitchen inside of West Bend Bar & Venue!!

Warmer months ahead we will increase hours! Possibly adding a lunch depending on the need and vibes for one!

This week we continue to test our kitchen when we open back up on Friday 5-9 Saturday 5-9 and Sunday we will pick up the brunch features and extend an extra hour to 11-4.

Entrees this week will be the zinger chicken salad and a new feature

Oceans Bounty Shrimp Toast… cheesy polenta with jumbo grilled shrimp topped with candied jalapeno bacon jam, served over housemade French toast with a butter maple glaze….for a tantalizing treat of savory, spicy, sweet …it will enlighten your buds…
