We’re incredibly excited for the opportunity to bring new life back into Sonder & Dram, a space that has always meant a lot to the Lewiston community. It’s a beautiful location with a unique atmosphere, and our goal is to honor what made it special while introducing a fresh energy and experience under the DaVinci’s umbrella.

As DaVinci’s celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, this project feels especially meaningful to us. For three decades, the community has supported our restaurant, and we see this as another opportunity to continue investing in Lewiston and creating experiences people can be proud of.

Right now, we’re focused on the early stages and making sure we approach the project thoughtfully and intentionally as we work toward opening sometime this summer. We believe downtown Lewiston continues to build momentum, and we’re excited to play a part in that continued growth.

More than anything, we want this to become a place people feel connected to again. A place for great food, specialty cocktails, hospitality, and memorable nights out. We’re looking forward to sharing more details as plans continue to develop.

Over the past two nights, the last team member stayed until about 9:00 PM, and the first person has been turning the lights on at 2:00 AM. It’s been incredibly busy.

We’re grateful for the hard work, but it’s important to recognize when rest is needed. I know we had originally planned on opening at 1pm but our crew has been stretching longer shifts as our Bates team members have left for the summer. We sold almost 500 sandwiches between yesterday and today, if I take one more order Makayla might throw an Italian at me!

Thank you for the support. We will be closed for the rest of the day. See you Monday at 11:00 AM.

We had an amazing dinner of chicken and gyro tacos from last night! Their food truck is located on Center Street (across from Five Guys 😂🙈) and these tacos hit the spot! I can’t wait to go back and try their falafel.
