To all FOODIES , we have reached a point where some things need to be discussed about the operations of not only CHIlOSOS but other food trucks as well .
It has been brought to our attention that some of our local RESTAURANTS, RESIDENTS and CITY OFFICIALS are not in support of Mobile units . They are wanting to set in place some rules & regulations that we are more than willing to embrace , but are wanting to implement another that is more than absurd .
These establishments, & local leaders are wanting to remove food trucks off of COLLEGE AVENUE ‼️ The claim is that we as mobile units take away from the well being of BRICK AND MORTAR places . They said we “ take customers , and we are suffering “ . “ they don’t pay property taxes where they are set up “ . There is many things I’m sure they say about mobile units to get their points across .
We have poured our blood , sweat and tears into our small business, worked tirelessly to get to the point where we are now . We are by far from perfect , we are human and make mistakes , but we try to open up with a winning attitude every time we are open. We are more than just food truck owners , we know many of you by name , see many of you every time we are open . Have heard countless stories and had have many conversations with you & your families . We consider many of you as friends . We pay taxes , we donate when we can , we follow the rules and for some people to come and try to take that away from small owners is pathetic.
We need your support in making noise about the “Ban “ of food trucks off of college avenue . We should be just as blessed to set up with permission on parking lots just like anyone else is . It’s unfortunate how some people can be so spineless , how they can let a 16ft trailer , family owned and operated business be the reason of hate .
To our customers and anyone who is a fan of food trucks, there will be city meetings in the near future to discuss these issues . It would mean the world to us if you would attend , or support not only us but other food trucks who are from LEVELLAND or surrounding communities.
To the ones who are “ SUFFERING “ , we strong heartedly wish nothing but the best , but last time I checked , everyone is free to eat where they want , is it our fault they would rather stand in unforeseen west Texas weather than go inside your cooled and heated establishments? It’s a shame my family and I have continued to support these same restaurants that are now trying to suppress us.
Customer service goes along way, great food goes along way, friendliness goes along way , attention to details goes a long way ‼️
Thank you all and god bless ‼️
Please help spread the word ‼️
