This month is 1 year of The Living Room! Wow, what a year it has been. Getting to be in this town, getting to know our neighbors and getting to know every single person who walks through the doors has been amazing. Our team always talks about how fun they have being a part of this thing and it’s because of YOU. Thank you for a year of support, love, and welcoming us. Thank you to those who rented our space to be the place to celebrate life’s milestones. We wanted to include some photos from when we were building out the space, fun to see what it has become. No amount of pictures can show how fun this year has been (also was a reminder that we don’t take enough photos of the day to day, year 2 will include those 😌)

Banana bread has been back for a week and the support has not gone unnoticed!

Also, the businesses across the street from us are just now able to open today due to the power outage from earlier this week.. If you don’t have plans for dinner or need somewhere to hang this weekend, consider supporting them! It’s difficult to have to close for that many days/possibly lose inventory and have to restock. Support our Stephen St. friends if you’re able (Corner Stone Tavern Morenos mexican restaurant La Dolce Vita of Lemont One Eleven Wine and Martini)
And if you’re still out of power, come hang here today, charge up everything and rest for a bit!

Go visit our very own Heather at Mabel’s today. We love Sommer, make sure to go stop by, and check out all the cute things she has to offer!!!

As you know, we’ve had several fill-in’s over the last month. You would not believe the incredible blessing Mary, Rachel, Jean, Mackenzie and of course Kiley have been. Throw in Lemont shop owners showing up when I’ve needed them most…this is community in action.

✨Today is the last Mabel’s TAKEOVER. ✨

And believe it or not…for me, the most famous person in this photo (taken at Mabel’s) isn’t the Gilmore Girl.

Heather, former shopgirl, longtime Mabel, forever friend is filling in today.

Before she was slinging coffee at The Living Room (102 Stephen St), she was greeting customers and arranging vintage right here. And all along, the Richa’s have been a true support, heartbeat and safe landing spot in Lemont. So believe me, you’re in good hands.

So come see her today 11-3. I’m bringing in some new things next week, so I’d appreciate anything you take out today. 🥰
