Got the opportunity to finally meet in person, one of my favorite artists and people in the disc golf community, Kelly “KOB” Baber. If you don’t know Kelly, he is the artist who perfectly captured our friend Tentis Dixon Moore aka Moe, on the Detector Moe stamp for the second Memorial tournament for Moe’s family. The first time I ever reached out to Kelly he treated me like a friend, and wanted to do his absolute best to honor Moe. Kelly’s work has been the highlight of the Innova drops all weekend, and man he should be proud of the joy he brings to this community with his art! Go check out his work at Kelly "Kob" Baber and give my brother a follow 🤙! You might be suprised to find one of his stamps already in your bag 😎✌️

For everyone who wants to see a beautifully designed 18-hole disc golf course in Leland, we need our disc golf community to show up for these important nights at Town Hall at the end of October. If you can only make one, please prioritize Thursday the 29th’s special session at Town Hall, which will directly address the disc golf course at the Loblolly Park property and the overall park plan.

This will be huge for the Town of Leland and Brunswick County to have a disc golf course that rivals some of the best courses in the state. We have heard great things from some of the design team, but our community involvement is always paramount.

We appreciate everyone who has shown up to meetings over the last two years and voiced their desire for a full course we can all be proud of. Let's keep that momentum going y'all!
