A little schedule update! 🤍 I won’t be bringing the cart to College Night Out tonight due to a family scheduling conflict. Thank you for understanding—sometimes this one-woman show needs to switch into mom mode!

I’m so grateful to my friend at The Wick Bar & Co. for the invitation. Please still head to Penn Ave from 5–7 tonight, visit the candle shop, and show our local businesses some love! 🕯️💕

I’ve been putting that love into a busy baking day, getting orders ready and working on some flavors for this weekend’s pop-ups! 🍰✨

I share a lot of smiles, sold-out posts, and excitement here, but today I want to be honest about something that hurt my feelings.

I recently made the difficult decision to back out of an event because of what made sense for my family and small business. I explained that and offered to donate a raffle prize so I could still support it. The response was “no problem” and a thank-you.

Later, I received a message saying my decision was insulting, telling me how successful the baker who replaced me had been, and bringing up another event I attended.

I understand being disappointed when someone backs out. But that follow-up felt personal, especially after I thought we’d left things on good terms.

I’m glad the event went well and the other baker was successful. That was never something I wished against.

Behind the happy face you see is someone who takes these things to heart. I love this business, but some days the difficult part has nothing to do with baking. 🤍

I’m officially confirmed and so excited to bring the Dipped By Emma cake-pop cart to The Mint Leaf’s Fall Vendor Event this Saturday!

The weather is looking beautiful, and there will be a wonderful lineup of local vendors set up outside. Inside, you’ll also find permanent jewelry, tiny tattoos, piercings, and hair tinsel—so there will be plenty to shop, see, and enjoy throughout the day! ✨

I’ll have an assortment of handcrafted cake pops and cakesicles, including some delicious fall flavors. Stay tuned for my official flavor lineup! 🍰🧡
