Asking for help as a business is not something we ever planned or wanted to do. But after so many of our customers asked whether we would have NFL Sunday Ticket this season—and several of you actually suggested starting a fundraiser and offered to contribute—we decided it was worth a shot.

That 716 Pizza Joint Lake County is a new, small, family-owned business with no corporate financial backing. The commercial cost for NFL Sunday Ticket is over $11,000 for the season, and for a new business just getting on its feet, that is simply more than we can take on by ourselves this year.

We also know how hard it can be for Bills fans in Florida to find a place that truly feels like home on game day. We want That 716 to be that place—a place where Bills Mafia can come together, eat some Buffalo food, cheer way too loud, and feel a little closer to Buffalo every Sunday.

So, after encouragement from our customers, we’re asking our Bills Mafia, friends, customers, and community for help. If having a dedicated Bills game-day home in Lake County means something to you and you’d like to help make it happen, any contribution—large or small—will be greatly appreciated. There is absolutely no obligation to donate. Supporting our restaurant, sharing this fundraiser, and showing up for game day means just as much to us.

What Happens If We Don’t Reach the Goal?

We want to be completely transparent about this from the beginning. Donations will not be refunded if we do not raise enough to purchase NFL Sunday Ticket.

If we fall short of the amount necessary to purchase the package, 100% of the funds raised will remain dedicated to That 716 Pizza Joint Lake County and will be used to enhance the experience for our customers and our Bills Mafia community. This could include improvements to our game-day setup, televisions and audio/visual equipment, special Bills game-day events and activities, customer promotions, and other improvements that help us create an even better place for our community to gather.

Our first goal is to bring NFL Sunday Ticket to That 716 this season. But either way, every dollar contributed will go toward making That 716 a better game-day home for Bills Mafia and a better experience for the customers who have supported this small business from the beginning.

We never expected to ask our community for help with something like this. The fact that our own customers were the ones who suggested it—and offered to contribute before we even asked—means more to us than you know.
