Hey Lima!! To say we are ecstatic is an understatement! To all of you that came and helped us during our drive words can’t explain how thankful we are!!!! Thanks to all of you amazing people we were able to donate THREE pallets of food to the West Ohio Food Bank, TONS of toiletries and toiletry kits to the Lima Rescue Mission and Our Daily Bread, and best of all we donated $765 to Our Daily Bread, which is over the amount needed to sponsor over two days of the kitchen and meals!!! EVERYONE should be so proud that at this holiday time we were all able to come together and do such good for so many!!! Happy Holidays!!! And once again THANK YOU!! 🧡🧡🧡

We will be collecting non perishable food items to donate to two local charities in Lima. The first organization, which will receive the food items, is the West Ohio Food Bank which we all know has definitely seen their share of unfortunate people as this pandemic has hit. The second, which will receive all household and hygiene items is the Lima Rescue Mission who does such great work with helping the homeless.
The first day will be on Saturday, the 19th from 9am-Noon at The Pony Keg located at 1201 Shawnee Rd in Lima. The second will be Sunday the 20th from 12pm-3pm at Lox Salon & Spa located at 3035 Elida Rd also in Lima.

These are pictures of the baskets we have up for raffle. With this money we are hoping to raise $365 which will cover the cost of the kitchen for a day at Our Daily Bread which serves meals everyday to those in need. How great would it feel to know that together we all fed the less fortunate residents of Lima for the day?

Hey all!!!!! So, with the holidays coming and so many families down and out Sweet Time is trying to do a few things to help those less fortunate right now for the holidays. I am hoping some people on here can help us along.

First, looking for somewhere that some adults and kids can volunteer and help out... would like to show the younger ones how fortunate they are and it will make them feel good to help others.

Second, we are trying to find somewhere that would be willing to let us do a food drive for a couple hours on a Saturday in the Lima, Ohio area. We would love to be able to help in all ways possible.

We will also be donating to Toys for Tots as we have been so fortunate and have had many people help support us throughout this unfortunate year.

Thank you in advance for any help or advice in this matter. We hope all of you have a safe and happy holiday! Here’s to a much better 2021!!

UPDATE: We were fortunate enough to find two local businesses to allow us to do our food drive at their locations. The dates will be 12/19 and 12/20. For all the details on where and what charities we will be helping please see our FB page. Anything you can do, even just one can of food will help. We will be open at the Indian Mound Mall at 771 S 30th St. Hours will be 11-7 everyday, except Friday & Saturday will be until 8.
