I was going to share that I am off on a wonderful adventure and taking time to regroup before the holidays but apparently my oven had other plans. It's going to take a break as well and get some service and hopefully not need to be replaced. The bread shop and all flour arts in general will be on break until Veterans Day, November 11th. The last round of fresh sourdough and a gazillion cookies will be at Vernon family farm this weekend for their adults only comedy night (I'll be there!) and I hope everybody has a wonderful rest of October. Thank you for your business!❤️

Super simple menu this week. I fear the rain and still recovering from traveling over the weekend and the back to school schedule. But I'm bringing the basics and some jalapeno cheese bagels because the jalapenos in the garden are loving this weather. I hope to see you today Lee Farmers Market

It's farmers market day! My exclusive Anadama sourdough is making its first appearance of this market season. I'm bringing all the bread today. I've got regular sourdough in various shapes and sizes, as well as wheat-free sourdough, fresh bagels and fresh focaccia. No sweets because sanity and sleep are my priorities so there just wasn't enough time. And it looks like it might be a beautiful day. Hope to see you there! Lee Farmers Market

Orchids and Bread... when I'm not in the kitchen, I'm lost in plants..... I'm on a marathon baking spree for tomorrow's farmers market, but I'm surrounded by these beauties currently blooming. I definitely have an orchid problem @40+ species 🤣
