Late summer in the Eastern Sierra is a celebration of what grows here. 🌱

Mono Inn has always been proud to partner with Blue Heron Farm bringing together a shared respect for place, thoughtful craftsmanship, and exceptional ingredients grown just down the mountain in Bishop.

From tomatoes and basil at the height of their season to Asian pears, carrots, and the last peaches of summer, Blue Heron’s bountiful harvests are featured on Chef Jay’s menus as the season unfolds. 🍅🥕 🍑🍐🥒

We’re grateful to Rachel, Aki, and the whole Blue Heron team for the meticulous care behind everything they grow, and for reminding us that “Good Food Grows Here” is more than a philosophy. It’s a connection between the land, the people who tend it, and what ultimately arrives and is enjoyed at the table.

We are now serving our Early Summer Tasting Menu, inspired by the ingredients, landscapes, and fleeting moments that make this season in the Eastern Sierra so extraordinary.

A new month is coming…a fresh start, and a quiet sense of excitement has been building behind the scenes at Mono Inn.

Over the past several months, we’ve been pouring our energy into every detail, refining, reimagining, and preparing for the upcoming season of dining.

In just one week, on Friday, June 5th, we will reopen our doors, and we cannot wait to welcome you back.

From the first hello to the final moments of service, every element has been thoughtfully considered as we continue our pursuit of creating memorable experiences overlooking Mono Lake.
