We had an awesome time today with our WKY 2 Man Shamble tournament! The players battled some intense heat as the morning reached the afternoon but you wouldn’t know that by looking at the scores. The course did play tough this morning early but with that being said some great golf was played. Congratulations to everyone who participated and supported us today! Over $1,300 in cash 💰 was paid out….here are the results from today’s action! From our Entire Drake Creek Team we extend our deepest gratitude to all the golfers who came out today!

Drake Creek is proud to host the LCHS Cardinals Baseball Team Golf Scramble on Saturday, September 26th! Shotgun start at 8am.

Event Details:
- 4-man teams, scramble format
- $400 per team – includes tee gift and lunch
- Hole sponsorship: $200
- Team + hole sponsorship combo: $550
- Closest to the Pin competition
- Long Drive competition
- Maximum of 25 teams
- Raffle items given away during lunch

Add-Ons Available for Purchase:
- 1 Mulligan per person (4 per team) – $20
- 1 Skirt per person (4 per team, can't be used on par 3's) – $20
- 15ft Putting Rope – $1 per foot, can't be used on par 3's (explanation provided on-site before tourney start)

Payment will be collected the day of the tourney at the registration/sign-in table.

All proceeds benefit the LCHS Cardinals Baseball Team.

We had an amazing conclusion to our 2026 West Kentucky Open! The day started off with a heavy drizzle for our morning rounds but midway through the weather turned out nice and some great golf was played this afternoon! What a beautiful day we had for early August! Congratulations to Patrick Newcomb with an impressive 12 shot victory to bring home the professional title! After several playoff holes between Reed Lindsey and Cody Martin, Reed was able to survive and come out on top as our amateur champion. Also playing an impressive two day tournament Emmett Krall came out on top as our Senior Champion. In the amateur division we were able to create a first flight coming in second after a count back Drew Dowd brings home the second place honors and winning the first flight in the amateur division Austin Harrington. From the entire Drake Creek staff we truly appreciate your support of our event this year and we are excited to say the 2027 West Kentucky Open will be even bigger and better and exciting. We have a few changes coming that will help grow this event and we look forward to releasing those details very soon! Bigger and better plans coming soon!

Good Evening…we had a great weather day considering how HOT it has been lately. It started off a little damp with some drizzle, then the sun came out and there was a nice breeze which helped dry the course out from the unexpected downpours we received in Ledbetter last night. Here are today’s results from
Round 1. We have also have the parings and start times for tomorrow’s final round! It’s going to be a great day of competition to see who comes out on top. Everyone is welcome to come out and watch.
