Tonight’s pour: Angel’s Envy Bourbon 🥃

There’s just something about a stormy night that calls for a good bourbon. With the weather rolling in and Hurricane Isaias making its way toward the Gulf Coast, tonight feels like the perfect evening to slow down, pull up a chair, and enjoy a pour.

Angel’s Envy is a little different from your everyday bourbon. It’s aged in new American oak and then finished in Port w**e barrels from Portugal, giving it those beautiful layers of vanilla, ripe fruit, maple, toasted nuts and a soft, lingering sweetness.

And here’s a fun little bourbon fact… the name Angel’s Envy comes from the “Angel’s Share” — the small amount of wh***ey that naturally evaporates from the barrel while it ages. Lincoln Henderson joked that after tasting the finished bourbon, they’d finally gotten a better deal than the angels. 😉🥃

Smooth, rich and just a little sweet — perfect neat, on the rocks, or in a classic Old Fashioned.

So if you’re looking for somewhere to ride out the rainy evening, come settle in with us. Let the wind do its thing outside. We’ll take care of the bourbon. 🥃🌧️
