Come on out to the smith county fair next week it starts Monday night and ends Saturday night they have new rides this year and of course we will be there with those mouth watering barbecue baked potatoes barbecue nachos and more this year we have added grilled 🌽 corn on the cob this year all y'all come on out to the fair and have a good time. Come hungry too

Man! The Wilson County Fair kicked all of our behinds! We all worked very very hard but had fun too. Smoked sooooo much bbq, I could barely keep up with demandI I want to thank all of the people who helped me. It's soooo important in a business like mine (as small as it is) to surround yourself with people you can trust. If I have to worry about them on the cash register - they don't work with me. I could not have gotten through it without my family & friends! Oh & a note to my family & friends - dont even think about trying to make me doubt you so you don't have to do it all again next year! LOL! Thanks & I love you guys!

A little better than 4 hours until Wilson County Fair time! We're getting off to a great start - scored 100 percent on our Health Inspection!!! First Time Ever!!! I've never scored below a 97 percent but it sure feels better to score 100%!!! The people next to us told me yesterday "You've been scrubbing those tables for nearly 4 hours now! Those tables are cleaner than my mamas dining room table!" Another man told me that my place was "Nasty Clean"! Neaver heard that one before but it was meant as a good compliment. Please come by to see us. We'll have BBQ Sandwiches, BBQ Nachos, BBQ Stuffed Potato, BBQ Frito Pie, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries, Deep Fried Spiral Potato, Funnel Cakes & we're adding Pizza this year! Lots to choose from : )

Getting ready for the Fair! Pulling stuff out & scrubbing down everything! HOT! HOT! HOT! Whenever you eat at the fair make sure they are CLEAN, especially food tents. Some of them are nasty (no sinks & use water sparingly)! I've seen them setup & breakdown & am amazed that some of them pass inspection! Not the case for Jordan's Catering though, I'd eat at his place anytime! Don't know if he's going to be at the fair but he makes the best chicken salad!!!

I've been looking for a big cardboard Slush Puppy cutout for over a year now. My hubby found a convenience store in Adairsville Georgia going out of business & bought it for me for only $10. He also bought me a lot of slushie mix as well. Lucky me!!! He saved me a boatload of money! I'm so lucky to have a husband who is always looking out for me & loves helping me with my concession & catering work!!!

Our 1st event of the year.
Don't forget the Mile Long Yard Sale in Watertown this Saturday. We will be set up in front of the old firehall. Hope you have a taste for a bbq sandwich, bbq loaded baked potato, bbq nachos, or bbq frito pie. If you are looking for something sweet we will have funnel cakes & maybe even red velvet & chocolate chip funnel cakes. We might even have funnel cakes with fruit topping & homemade whipped cream! And of course we will have sodas & sweet tea. Come by & check us out.
