Thanks to our own Avery Roethlisberger, for reminding us that we have a lot of great offerings in our award-winning Pro Shop that make great gifts or fashionable ways to represent the best country club in the region!

Nothing like an early-morning at SRGC. Course is in great shape and it's a great week for creating memories!

Sunday was a near perfect day and these two guests had a near perfect round. Members at Heritage Club in Mason, Ryan Pereira and Alok Garg said that Shaker is one of their favorite clubs to visit during this time of year. We at SRGC really appreciate the two of you choosing to spend an afternoon with us.

Fall is upon us and soon the leaves will be in full Fall color. As the temperature drops, there's plenty of time to visit our Pro Shop and see what kind of warmer "Shaker Swag" Rebecca has put out for those cooler rounds.

We had the privilege of hosting Tony Berry who came from Eaton, Ohio to grab a round at SRGC on Saturday. It had been nearly 10 years since he had been back to challenge Woodlands / Lakeside and he emailed us this nice little testimony....

"Vincent and I played a round of golf on Saturday September 19th. He is an amazing ambassador for Shaker Run and treated me like royalty. The course was immaculate the greens were near perfect and the views were stunning. Although I played terribly, I had one of the best days that one could possibly have had. Hope to be back soon!"

Sincerely
Tony Berry

Congratulations to our very own Club Pro, Rebecca Ward!

After an inch of rain dropped this morning within an hour, we will be closed today. Unfortunately Mother Nature does not always cooperate! With temperatures reaching 90°F the golf course is experiencing saturated conditions with standing water throughout the property. The combination of excessive heat and prolong moisture create an ideal environment for disease development and can lead to significant long-term damage to the Turf, including roots, reduced plant health and potential Turf loss.
