⚡️ A huge THANK YOU to Victory Electric Company for their quick response and outstanding service!

When you're a restaurant, a functioning hood system isn't optional—it's essential. Without it, we can't safely run our burners, chargrill, or fryers, which means we can't serve the BBQ our customers count on.

Victory Electric quickly diagnosed the issue, got the replacement part, and got everything repaired so we could get back up and running today. Their professionalism, communication, and sense of urgency made all the difference.

Good Morning!

Three members of our team headed to ilani BBQ Fest in Ridgefield, Wa while the rest of team stayed back and held down the fort at the restaurant. Our restaurant team successfully catered two events while overcoming the challenge of having an excessive heat wave for weekend and having issues with our hood.

Thank you to everyone who supported our restaurant and we're understanding and patient with the challenge our team was facing yesterday.

Our BBQ Fest team overcame extreme heat conditions while being set up on the roof of Ilani. We served up Korean BBQ Ribs, Teriyaki Meatballs and Smoked Maple Bourbon Cheesecake to the attendees.

Saturday was the Salmon turn-in. We entered a Salmon Wellington that was cooked on one of our drum cookers. Sunday was the Pork Ribs and Pork Belly turn-ins. For the rib turn-in we entered Cured Pork Ribs (imagine bacon on a bone) with a Sugar Vibes Donut Company Maple Frosting Glaze. These Ribs tasted like a Maple Bacon Donut. 🤤

For Our Pork Belly turn-in we entered a Sticky Asian Pork Belly with a Coconut Rice.

Due to time restrictions and trying to overcome some challenges we were only able to take a picture of our Rib entry. I know that there were people from Ilani who were taking pictures and videos of the entries, so if I see any with our entries, I'll share them.

This was our first time participating in this event, and we’re looking forward to next year.

Our final results...

🐟 Salmon - 5th Place
🐷 Ribs - 3rd Place
🐖 Pork Belly - 1st Place

They haven't posted the overall results, but we might have placed 2nd place overall out of 11 teams. Congratulations to Dal-icilous BBQ on your GC.
