It is with great Sadness in my heart that I report to you that Heather Beez is closed for good.
In the past year I have documented and wrote to you keeping my struggles for the public to know what it’s like and see me go through. I’ve stayed honest and open. Since January 26, 2025 I’ve been closed, I was going through struggles. There’s lots of things I should have done differently.
I have met some amazing people in the community. I’ve also had my enemies. We all have haters at some point. Maybe they were right, my portions were too big, maybe it was food cost, repairs, maybe I went too big.
Without the experience I wouldn’t have never met some amazing people. The mayor, our town electrician and psychologist, the gypsy girls, the dentist, bakery owners, street department, police officers, sheriff’s, property owners, saloon owners, beautiqe owners, florists, and many more.
I want to thank all of you for your donation for Heather Beez go fund me. That was something that my great friend put on for me. It paid for the fire inspection and a water bill. I never expected anything like that. It truly meant the world to me.
I never thought I’d be in this place again, saying goodbye. I’ve heald on, i went and got a job so that i could keep rhe diner, i held onto hope that i would find someone. Although someone stepped forward there were to many more factors. It was too late. Getting a job to support the diner is all i could do to help save the place. It just wasnt enough. I didnt have the capital as others do. I was just a lady trying to live her dream again. I made right by my promise, Ive held on until i couldnt. The building will go back to the building owner on June 15, 2025. I have to focus on paying my distributors. I may struggle but im trying. Ive been trying..
I’ve got things to pack and clean and many hours ahead of me. I got this, no matter what one at a time I got this. I’m sad, that this is the way I have to end, just know I tried with everything in me it just wasnt enough.

Good Afternoon,
Wow it’s been several days 5 I believe since I last posted!
So my son has had a bad viral infection in both of his lungs. Testing came out just that. Viral. The problem: he’d been coughing since November 20, 2024. He got walking pneumonia, and Covid back to back. He is asthmatic so it becomes a bigger issue. When I posted he had gotten worse, we were on breathing treatments every two hours. This is per his doctor. One thing about me, I’ll give you three days if there is a fever etc. I wait 7 if not then we are off to the doc. Thank goodness for my husband and health insurance. Sometimes we take that for granted.
Since I’ve posted I’ve seen many things that just plain are not true. I’ve had alot of decisions to make, a lot to think about all the while I need cooks. I have something promising happening on Saturday, which is good. Good for all of us. I hope to be back open soon. Like in the next two weeks. I’ve also been well aware that there is a fundraiser for the diner. There are many people that are surrounding me, loving me, holding me up by my shoulders. Sending positive vibes my way.
With all that said I also have a full time job back at the hospital. I have to. It’s not fair to my husband to only rely on him to support all the things and my crazy dream. So three days a week i already know im going to be certain hours. We can start slow and keep going from there but having to work and run the diner i can do. I hustle. People can say what they want but calling me lazy thats not a thing.
I’ve sat in the diner for almost two weeks daily in my own darkness, in my own depression and for some I bet that’s exactly how they want me. I’ve kept quiet, no response is a response.
People come to the doors and look in. I’ve moved tables Ive taken things down, yes I’m a clean freak… you have no idea the extreme I go to make sure things are clean. I have called people to do things inside, I am cooking for people that have put orders in and made those deliveries.
I am doing ok considering. I don’t want to close, I don’t like being closed. It’s an absolute knife to the gut. I already feel crappy about it and then add the lies ontop of it. No one in this life deserves what I’ve faced since day one. No one.
I might be biased but I will say this, I might not be the best in town and that’s okay, I might not be the best looking in town and that’s okay too, but you’ll get a cinnamon roll the size of Texas, a strawberry brownie that will make you come back for more, an opened faced hot beef that will make you pack 1/2 of it up, a smile that is crooked, a hug that will show you that you are without a doubt loved, and someone to say hello to you when you come back and ask how you are genuinely doing.
I miss and love each and everyone of you, and can’t wait to see you! Keep the prayers going because we all know as long as it’s in his will it will be done.

Good Thursday Morning:
Heather Beez will be closed until further notice.
Thank you for your patience while I figure out what I need to do for the diner.
I have a family member that is very sick at this time and needs to be tested for other illness.
I need an experienced line cook to work the line and I also don’t have that at this time. Please send a message if you’d like to apply.
I keep trying and trying and ask myself when enough is enough.
1: the gas lines
2: the hood
3: the fryer
4: the cold table
5: the water main break
6: the fryer (again)
The list just keeps going…..

Good Icy Wednesday Morning!!
I have decided due to the Saftey of employees to stay closed today. Some can’t get up hills, ive been out getting around in this and it’s supposed to get worse as the day goes on.
I need to get the parking lot and sidewalks taken care of for the Saftey of patrons.

I’ve had a couple of days away from the diner and I needed them. It has opened a new perspective for me. After speaking with staff etc I will be making changes to hours. We all need rest and a couple days to regroup.
