As I am going through the past 15 years of so, I am looking back on so many things in my culinary journey and how they impacted so many people but mostly ME. It is hard to believe this was in 2018, the year we relocated back home to Texas from California and the support from so many from before and then starting over. Embracing my passion, ideas, creativity, drive and professionalism. I believe this is the first time I have shared this on a public platform and there are several others following this one over the years. Educating yourself and studying is always important! Learning new things daily expands your mind, heart and soul. Tonight I stepped out of traditional tequniques and tested a not new ...but under used method for a thick steak.

I want to take a moment to ask for specific prayers for many Chefs and Home Cooks that are making waves in the Favorite Chef Competition and those that have worked hard since day one. There are many trying to keep up the pace surrounded by wildfires and natural disasters in multiple states as we speak. Pray for them, their families and their communities.
