St. John's Oktoberfest Authentic German food, beer, music, and dancing on Saturday, September 26, starting at 4:30pm.

The Polka Mass will start at 4pm this year to help with parking. 1234 Kentucky Street, Lawrence, Kansas.

Did you forget to sign up to help work Oktoberfest??? Don't fret..... just show up today on the church basement. Find Susan, and she will give you something to do. Fry schnitzel, prep schnitzel, cut and wrap desserts, set up food lines, fill food containers, serve food, cashier.

Throwback to 2004 when we celebrated our 8th Annual Oktoberfest! Boy, has our event grown since then!

Come join us on Saturday, September 26, starting at 4:30 PM at 1234 Kentucky St., to help us celebrate our 40th annual Oktoberfest! Live Polka music, dancing, sing-alongs, and tons of fun. Menu includes schnitzel, b**r, rocks, bratwurst, hotdog, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut, German potato salad, and a selection of German style b**rs. Prost!

With b**r, brats and polka music Saturday night, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church's annual Oktoberfest brought a little bit of Germany to Lawrence.Roughly 2,000 people attended the eighth-annual installment of the event, which has evolved considerably from its humble origins.
