Our Story

Hello, my name is Ron Aronsohn and I, along with my son Nathan, own and operate a neighborhood Restaurant & Lounge in Las Vegas, Nevada called the Blue Ox Tavern. The Blue Ox legacy began in Minneapolis, MN with my father, David and continues today with my son Nathan. The Blue Ox has operated continuously in the Las Vegas valley since March of 1980 and the Blue Ox Tavern location on W S

ahara Ave has been in business since January of 1996. Accordingly, we are a "home away from home" to our displaced friends from Minnesota. This is especially true during football season when we feature the Minnesota Vikings. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also feature the best in locals gaming with bar top Video Poker, Keno, Blackjack, Slots and Roulette. Sign up for our CLUB OX Player Rewards program and be rewarded with liberal comps and Free Play. It pays to play at the Blue Ox Tavern. In addition, we also have an amazing game room featuring all of your favorite arcade games. The Blue Ox Tavern is open 24 hours and our kitchen is open from 10 am to 2 am, daily. (Call for holiday hours.) We are located on Sahara approximately 3 1/2 miles West of the "Strip." More accurately, we are at 5825 W Sahara Ave, just East of Jones in the Burlington Store Plaza.
