Anne Valdespino of the Orange County Register sums up the closure of our Irvine location very well. "The second location of Little Onion Mexican Restaurant has closed after being open a little less than a year. Its last service was Sunday, Nov. 8. Owner Lori Reich Rowe said she fought really hard to stay open but timing was everything. 'It’s due to COVID,' she said. 'It’s the loss of business for full-service restaurants with reduced dining room capacity.' Her Santa Ana location remains open, in fact, it will be expanding, she said. The company is a family business that she is not giving up on; it’s very close to her heart."
