To Our Valued Guests and Friends,
It is with great sadness that we announce Blue Hen Chicken Co. on West Charleston Blvd will be closing on Friday, August 5. We have provided high-quality food made from scratch for just over a year and loved being a part of the local community. We want to thank all of our wonderful guests and employees for supporting us over these past 14 months.
We will have a farewell lunch THIS WEEK Wednesday, 8/3 to Friday, 8/5 from 11 am – 2 pm and you are all invited! Our next-door market, Stork + Farm will be open for a limited preview so feel free to shop for some freshly-harvested produce from local and California family farms. We’d love to be able to say thank you and give our amazing guests a chance to enjoy their favorite sandwiches one more time. Our farewell menu will also be available on our website and phone orders for take-out can be made at (702) 998 - 9848. We are actively looking for a new home for Blue Hen so please follow us on Instagram to see where we can meet again.
What began as a little 44 seat family-owned restaurant in a vacant strip mall grew into a place that had welcomed many guests who became like family and landed us in Yelp’s Top 50 Places to Eat in Las Vegas, Desert Companion Magazine, and other “Best Chicken Sandwich” lists. Thank you for making Blue Hen one of the town’s most popular establishments for chicken sandwiches and warm, friendly service. We are extremely humbled that so many embraced our restaurant and that we were able to succeed as long as we had. For a restaurant to survive and thrive in Las Vegas for over a year during this unprecedented time is an accomplishment of which we can all be proud. And we could not have done it without all of you. Thank you for your loyal patronage over the years. We wish you all the best for a happy and prosperous future. This isn’t “goodbye”, more of a “see you later.”
