Handmade with Love, Creativity and a Whole Lot of Meaning!

I’ve been extremely busy these past few weeks creating new props, decorations, and booth signs for our upcoming Día de Mu***os celebrations! Almost everything has been handmade by me using materials, tools, and random things I already had sitting in my garage. 😂

Now, don’t get me wrong, these projects aren’t necessarily cheap, and they definitely take a lot of time, patience, and hard work! But I’ve always been a very creative person. I love taking something ordinary and turning it into something beautiful and unique.

One of the projects I’m most excited to share is our Messages to Heaven Community Phone Booth!

This project is especially close to my heart because Día de Mu***os is about so much more than beautiful decorations, colorful calaveras, and cempasúchil flowers. It’s about love, remembrance, family, and keeping the memories of those who have passed alive.

Our Messages to Heaven phone booth will be a special space where anyone visiting our booth can pick up the phone and have a moment with someone they miss dearly.

Call your mama or papa just to tell them you love them. Tell your abuelita or abuelito how much you miss their hugs, stories, and laughter. Share something special with a child, sibling, friend, or loved one who left this world too soon. Or simply pick up the phone, close your eyes, and say the words you never had the chance to say.

There won’t be anyone answering on the other end, but sometimes speaking from the heart is all we need.

Grief doesn’t have an expiration date. Whether you lost someone yesterday or 30 years ago, the love you carry for them never disappears.

In our Mexican culture, Día de Mu***os reminds us that our loved ones continue to live through our memories, traditions, and the stories we share.

I truly hope everyone who visits us at Mu***os Fest in San Antonio, Texas, and the Día de Mu***os celebration in Old Mesilla, New Mexico, takes a moment to experience our community phone booth.

You don’t have to purchase anything from us to participate. This is something I’m creating from my heart, for our community, and for everyone who carries someone special in theirs. 🖤

Of all the things I’ve created over the years, I have a feeling this will be one of the most meaningful.

Keeping Our Traditions Alive!

Another beautiful addition to our ofrenda! We restocked even more authentic, traditional Mexican sugar Calaveras!

Over the years, I’ve collected a large variety of these beautiful Calaveras, handcrafted in Mexico by talented artisans who continue the generations-old tradition of making them for Día de Mu***os.

For the past 10 years, I’ve made it a tradition to stop by Lujan’s Bakery every year to purchase these colorful works of art, along with their delicious, authentic Pan de Mu**to!

What makes these Calaveras so special to me is that they’re more than just beautiful decorations. They represent our Mexican heritage, our ancestors, and the traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. Every colorful detail is a reminder of the love, creativity, and craftsmanship that goes into celebrating Día de Mu***os.

Día de Mu***os isn’t just about decorating with skulls and marigolds. It’s about remembering those who came before us, honoring their lives, and keeping their memories alive.

And of course, a huge shoutout to Lujan’s Bakery for continuing to bring these beautiful Mexican traditions to our community year after year!

This one is especially meaningful to me! We are beyond excited and honored to have been accepted as vendors at Mu***os Fest, one of the largest Día de Mu***os celebrations in the country! 🇲🇽❤️

To be invited to participate alongside so many incredibly talented artists, creators, and vendors from different places is truly a blessing. As a Mexican owned small business, being able to share our creativity, handmade pieces, and love for our beautiful Mexican traditions and cultura on such a large platform means more than words can express.

For months, I’ve been working behind the scenes creating hundreds of handmade pieces, designing new products, and preparing something truly special for this celebration. Every late night, every little detail, and every hour spent creating has been worth it!

What started as a small spooky themed business has continued to grow into opportunities I once only dreamed about. And the best part? We’re doing it while staying true to our Mexican roots, our traditions, and our love for all things spooky!

Who says you have to give up cake decorating? Apparently, I just found a way to make cakes that last forever! The best part, these little beauties aren’t edible, so you can enjoy them year after year!

And the crafting continues! Another exciting addition to our handmade collection! Introducing our newest Build & Paint Your Own Skeleton Kits!

These adorable little skeletons come ready for you to assemble, paint, and bring to life with your own creativity! A fun, spooky activity for both kids and adults, and a perfect little keepsake for Día de Mu***os!

We will have these available at Mu**to Fest in San Antonio, Texas, next weekend, followed by the Día de Mu***os celebration in Historic Old Mesilla, New Mexico, the following weekend!

I’ve been working nonstop for months preparing hundreds of handmade pieces, creating new products, and putting together something truly special for both celebrations. Every little detail matters to me, especially when it comes to honoring and sharing our beautiful Mexican traditions and cultura.

And speaking of something special… I have another BIG surprise!

I’ve been working on a brand new interactive community display that will be featured at both events! I’m keeping the details a secret for just a little longer, but I have a feeling this one is going to be a huge hit! It’s something meaningful that I’m incredibly excited to share with everyone.

Preparing for events of this size takes an incredible amount of time, creativity, patience, and dedication. But seeing everything finally come together and watching people enjoy what I’ve created makes every late night worth it!

Enchanted Sweets is bringing a whole lot of Mexican cultura, creativity, and spooky magic to Texas and New Mexico this Día de Mu***os season!

I haven’t baked or decorated a cake in months, and honestly, I really don’t have the desire to go back to doing cakes anymore. After so many years of baking and decorating, it took a huge toll on my hands, arms, and back, and stepping away was something I needed to do for myself.
But this one was for a very special occasion.

This sweet baby girl decided to make her appearance a little earlier than expected, which meant she actually got to attend her own baby shower and celebrate surrounded by her family!

Even though cakes are no longer something I plan on regularly offering, I’m so glad I made an exception for this one. It felt good to pull out my decorating supplies again and create this cake along with the matching sugar cookies for such a beautiful celebration.

Sometimes the projects that mean the most aren’t the biggest or the fanciest, they’re the ones connected to a special moment and a beautiful memory.

Welcome to the world, baby girl! You definitely made sure you didn’t miss your own party.
