Hi, I’m Luz ☀️

Apparently I’m the “ray of sunshine” of the shop... and apparently Alan also volunteered me to make videos now.

So if you’re wondering why I’m talking to a camera instead of making coffee, blame him.

Anyway...

This is our Grassmilk Matcha.

A drink that started as a joke, somehow became a meme, and somehow became one of our best sellers.

Organic strawberry preserves around the cup, sweet matcha, Madagascar vanilla, foam, and a little matcha on top.

I still don’t understand why everyone is obsessed with it...

but after filming this video, I kind of do.

This one is all about the menu.

With the new location coming up, I took the opportunity to completely restructure our menu and make it easier to navigate. Everything will now be organized into five categories, some drinks will be retiring, a few new ones will be making their debut, and a lot of recipes have been refined along the way.

I also talk about a small pricing adjustment to the Signature menu. Nothing major—just a few cents. Those drinks tend to use more ingredients, more garnishes, and require a little more time to prepare compared to our Classics, so I wanted the menu structure to better reflect that.

I also share my thoughts on the Hawaiian seasonal menu that was originally planned. For now, I've decided to skip that seasonal release and instead possibly bring one of those drinks as a limited-time offering during our Grand Opening.

A lot of decisions, a lot of testing, and a lot of coffee later... here is Part 2.

The Grassmilk Matcha started as a meme and somehow became the best-selling drink at Dark Rock Coffee.

Packed with organic strawberry preserves, sweet matcha, Madagascar secret flavoring, and finished with a thick layer of foam, it’s the drink that keeps bringing folks back to the ranch.

Not bad for a little green outlaw. 🌾🤠
