I have a feeling you’re going to have a hard time deciding what to order this week. 😂

The kitchen has been showing off a little… and honestly, I’m not mad about it.

There’s a creamy Tuscan chicken pasta that is basically a hug on a plate, a fresh lentil salad for those of you pretending you’re being responsible, and sausage + peppers because sometimes you just need to listen to your heart. 😂

And if you’re more of a sandwich person, the turkey + ham pita has pesto, Swiss, pepperoncini and red onion doing some very good things together.

Happy hour is also bringing the good stuff this week with our Grüner, Zinfandel and our Cranberry Bliss mocktail. And because we believe pizza should always be an option, the feature pita pizza is pepperoni.

I know you all have been asking who’s playing at the Door, so here’s the lineup!

We’ve got some familiar faces, some great musicians, and plenty of nights ahead to come grab a drink, eat something good, listen to some music and hang out with your people.

Okay, you guys. We need to have a little talk. 😂

The weather gets slightly cooler and suddenly everyone is ready for mashed potatoes, soup and anything involving sausage.

I see how this is going. 😉

So here’s what’s happening at the Door this week…

The bacon-wrapped meatloaf is BACK.
Yes, again. 😂

We had it last week, and apparently you weren’t quite ready to let it go. So I’m giving you one more chance to get your meatloaf fix before I make you move on.

Then there’s the sausage + peppers.

You’ve asked for it.
You’ve mentioned it.
You’ve reminded me about it.

So… FINE. You win. 😂
You know who you are…😘

And because cooler weather practically demands it, we’ve got cream of mushroom soup simmering, too.

You know that first little stretch of cooler weather when you suddenly want to sit somewhere cozy, eat something that sticks to your ribs, and catch up with people you haven’t seen all week?

After months apart, Apple Cobbler has returned to Red Door.

And before you ask… yes, she heard you were asking about her. A lot.

She’s still sweet. Still cozy. Still a little dangerous. And honestly? We probably shouldn’t encourage this relationship.

But it’s fall.
And apparently, we have no self-control.

Apple Cobbler is back. 🥃🍎

She says she’s “just here for the season,” but we’ve heard that one before. 😉

Well… hello, cooler weather. 🍂 We’ve been waiting for you.

This week feels like the perfect excuse to slow down a little, come in hungry, and let us feed you. The kitchen is leaning into cozy ~ think chicken noodle soup, meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes, warm pasta and a few lighter things for those of you not quite ready to give up summer.

And of course we have all the desserts you know and love. We’ll just leave that there. 😉

Happy Hour is Wednesday ~ Friday from 4~6, featuring Fess Parker Chardonnay, Alpha Estate Axia, and Amaretto Orange Margarita Mini Mocktail, so come warm up with us, grab a drink, find a table and stay awhile.

🌻 Well… Mother Nature had other plans for Sunflower Saturday.

We know tomorrow was supposed to be one of those special La Porte days ~ sunflowers, friends, family, music, wandering around town, and seeing familiar faces everywhere you go. We’re disappointed too. ❤️

But a rainy Saturday doesn’t have to be a wash!

If your plans suddenly opened up, come spend some time with us at Red Door. Grab lunch, settle in for dinner, share a pizza, enjoy a cocktail or a glass of w**e, and catch up with the people you were hoping to see out and about tomorrow.

Let’s still make Saturday a day about good food, good people, and being together.
