The Safe House will be opening late this friday the 25th so our family and staff can say goodbye to our dear friend, Sharon Costello. ❤️

Sharon and her family have been woven into the Safe House story for many years. Her husband, John, worked alongside us for many years, as well as their daughter Susie, their son Tommy, granddaughter Aly, and Sharon’s sister Sally have been part of our Safe House family, too.

Our hearts are broken that Sharon is gone. We loved her dearly, and we love the family and beautiful legacy she and John created together.

Some things are simply more important than opening the doors on time. On Friday, we’re taking a little time to be with people we love and say goodbye to a woman who meant an awful lot to us.

We’ll open by 5 pm.

Rest easy, Sharon. Give Coz a hug from all of us. You will be missed more than you know. ❤️

On to the last IPA of our Hill Farmstead stash. Society and Solitude now pouring at the Safe House Saloon. These kegs haven’t been lasting long so don’t if you want.

Edit: Small change. It will be Susan up next not Everett. We will save the porter for slightly cooler weather.

Well it only took two weekends to go through the first keg of Hill Farmstead. Edward is gone and we will be tapping a keg of Everett on Friday.

Honey is back at the safe house. Right now all we have is light, but there will be dark honey coming in the very near future as well.

Yep, gonna have Hill Farmstead on draft at the Safe House Saloon! First keg getting tapped tomorrow. We got 4 kegs so it should last for a little bit.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all that came out and supported our Bartenders For Community event last night. Thanks to your generosity we were able to raise $3058 for the Lansing EMS and Fire Department’s annual volunteer appreciation dinner. It warms our hearts to see the community come together and support the volunteers who are willing to drop everything when help is needed.
