💗 Help Us Support My Sister Through Breast Cancer 💗
My little sister, Samantha, is only 32 years old, and she has recently been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma (breast cancer).
At 32, she should be focused on her future, her dreams, and building her life—not navigating biopsies, scans, appointments, medications, treatments, and the uncertainty that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
We are incredibly grateful for the medical care she is receiving, but the financial reality of cancer is also overwhelming. She is young and, like many people her age, hasn't had decades to build a savings nest egg for something like this. The scans, medications, appointments, treatments, and other expenses are already adding up.
Our family is doing everything we can to surround her with love, support, and strength. But we also know how incredible people can be when someone is facing something they should never have to face alone.
If you feel led to help, any amount—even $5—can make a difference. Your support can help ease some of the financial burden so she can focus her energy where it belongs: on healing. ❤️
Ways to help:
💰 Cash App: $SammieRaeCrafts
💗 Venmo: -Pease-7
☕ If you're local and aren't familiar with Cash App or Venmo, donations can also be made at The Urban Cup, 2225 E Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI, where they are graciously helping support Samantha during this time.
And if you aren't able to give financially, sharing this post, praying for her, and sending encouragement means just as much.
One very important request from our family:
Please do not feel that you need to ask Samantha any questions about her diagnosis, treatment, appointments, or what happens next right now. She has a lot to process, and we want to protect her space and allow her to focus on herself and her healing.
If you have questions or would like updates, please reach out to her sisters, Andrea Pease or Erin Crockwell, rather than asking her directly. We will do our best to help keep everyone informed as appropriate.
Most importantly, please lift her up in prayer—not worry. 🙏🏻
Pray for healing. Pray for strength. Pray for peace. Pray for wisdom for her doctors. Pray for her mind and heart as she walks through this. And pray that she feels surrounded by love every step of the way.
She has a long road ahead, but she does not have to walk it alone.
Thank you to everyone who loves Samantha, supports her, prays for her, and helps us surround her with hope during this incredibly difficult season. Your kindness means more than we could ever put into words. 💗
Please share this post so we can reach as many people as possible. 🎀
