Okay, maybe it's not the weather you hoped for this weekend. But look on the bright side… the New River Gorge is even prettier when it gets a little moody. Also, tomorrow (Sunday, 10/4) we'll have plenty of hot soup and brisket sandwiches to warm your bones here at our place. We're bringing out one of my own personal favorites for the Thursday special today (10/1)—this Cuban sando with Swiftwater pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese, yellow mustard and pickles, plus fries, plus a pickle spear, plus a small fountain drink… all for $16.99. That's a lot of food, y'all. And hey, go international! Sub out the fries for a bowl of hot Italian sausage and cabbage soup for an extra $2.
