🏆 The Shovel Award 🏆

This week's Shovel Award goes to George & Bailey Case and The Inn at Lander!

When a single mother and her two young daughters were living out of their car during the extreme heat wave our community has been experiencing, George and Bailey didn't hesitate to help. Through their generosity, they provided the family with immediate shelter free of charge, giving them a safe place to rest while Trenches Collective worked alongside the family to connect them with their next steps and longer-term support.

This is what community looks like.

Real change happens when people are willing to step into the trenches, respond with compassion, and work together to care for those facing difficult circumstances. George and Bailey's kindness not only met an immediate need—it reminded this family that they were seen, valued, and not alone.

Thank you, George & Bailey Case and The Inn at Lander, for partnering with Trenches Collective and for demonstrating what it means to love your neighbors through action.

Following the parade, community members are invited to Lander City Park for the annual Rotary July 4th BBQ. Enjoy buffalo burgers, brats, hot dogs, and hamburgers while supporting local Rotary projects. Tickets are available from the Lander Chamber of Commerce, Mr. D's, Lander Rotarians, or at the event.

More than 30 community and business members showed up for good conversation, new connections, and a strong reminder of what makes Lander’s business community so valuable.

Live Music - Low Water String Band

Lander Rotary uses proceeds from this event for local community projects.
