Two new coffees have launched this week! A Pink Bourbon from Huila, Colombia & a Red Bourbon from Kayanza, Burundi 🩷

Carlos Guamanga // Fresh off the grind the aromatics are sweet and floral. Notes of cherry can be found in the cup and are wrapped up in a brown sugar sweetness from hot to cold. Just another great example of why we love the pink bourbon variety.

Munkaze // Fresh off the grind we are smelling ripe plum and berries in the aromatics. Plum, mission fig, and raisin are found in the cup with a silky chocolate mid-tone wonderfully balancing the fruit forward cup.

Asefa Dukama // It is fitting that new crop coffees from Ethiopia arrive in the spring. The best coffees from the motherland are almost always floral in their aromatics and their sweet, delicate profiles are a welcome addition to the warming days, blooming flowers and mornings filled with birdsong.

This lot is produced by Asefa Dukamo who started his coffee company Daye Bensa in 1996. This coffee comes from his farm in Keramo village, but Asefa also works with thousands of small lot producers and their harvests.

Fresh off the grind, we are finding floral and bergamot aromatics. The floral notes carry over into the cup as well and are joined by a lovely lime like acidity and honeyed sweetness. Wrap all this up in a delicate smooth mouthful and you'll find the perfect accompaniment to these lovely spring days.
