Big news for Lake Travis 🍽️✨

We are excited to announce: Canyon Grille at Rough Hollow is about to undergo a full transformation! We will temporarily close our doors after this Easter weekend on Monday, April 6 and officially reopen on Tuesday, April 14 as a reimagined farm-to-table dining destination rooted in Central Texas flavors—from Hill Country farms to Gulf Coast seafood.

With new ownership under Haythem Dawlett and Tony Curtis-Wellings (pictured left, right) as Director of Operations, the refreshed concept brings elevated, approachable dining and a renewed focus on community, hospitality, and locally sourced ingredients.

Stay tuned for updates, specials, and events as we prepare to welcome you back to the lake. We can’t wait to get back to our roots and unveil what we have in store!

We’re excited to introduce the General Manager of Canyon Grille, Mike Guido!

Mike has been part of the Texas hospitality scene for more than two decades. Originally from Virginia, he made the move to Texas in 1996 to attend Texas A&M—and like many Aggies, he never left. Since stepping into restaurant management in 2002, Mike has helped lead teams and serve communities across College Station, Houston, Austin, Horseshoe Bay, and Fredericksburg. Now, he brings his experience and leadership back to Lakeway as the General Manager of Canyon Grille.

Known for his neighborly approach and passion for genuine hospitality, Mike believes a restaurant should feel like a place where everyone is welcome and treated like family.

“Our guests choosing to dine with us is always an honor...and we treasure that honor each and every shift.”

When he’s not at the restaurant, you’ll likely find him spending time with his five kids or hanging out with his dogs.
