Now that we are building another trailer our request for an extra space was denied. No reason why.
Back when we first started (2017) they accommodated an extra space for our trailer.

Unfortunately, we will not be at the Lakeland Downtown Farmers Curb Market effective October 2026 for the whole month until further notice. In the mean time I will continue to work on the new trailer even though the downtown market will not accommodate an extra space for my trailer.

Unfortunately, we will not be at the Lakeland Downtown Farmers Curb Market effective October 2026. The Lakeland DFCM management have made changes to the market layout without vendors’ input. We have been a loyal/paying vendor for nine years; apparently it has no bearing as to what we request. Additionally, due to medical situation and at the same time in the process of having a food trailer built, which requires an extra spot, DFCM management has informed us that they cannot accommodate an extra spot for our trailer. Therefore, Kahuna’s Island Grill LLC (veteran owned), will not be participating at the Lakeland DFCM market. To our loyal patrons, a sincere appreciation from the bottom of our hearts for your support and confidence in our pacific island flavour for the past nine years.

Made progress on the trailer door. This style is like a Dutch door which is two separate doors. The top door will swing outward and the lower one will swing inwards.
