⚾🔥 TAMPA BAY JUST SWEPT NEW YORK — AND NOW IT’S CLEVELAND’S TURN.

The Rays made quick work of the Yankees with a 3–0 ALDS sweep, advancing to the American League Championship Series for the third time in franchise history. New York never led at any point in the series, and Tampa Bay finished the job in just three games.

Now comes Cleveland — and there’s some history here.

This will be the third postseason meeting between Tampa Bay and Cleveland. Tampa Bay beat Cleveland 4–0 in the 2013 Wild Card Game, while Cleveland swept the Rays in the 2022 Wild Card Series.

So yes… there’s a little unfinished business. 👀

And Tampa Bay has reason to feel good about this matchup: the Rays went 5–1 against Cleveland during the regular season and outscored them 20–8.

Cleveland, though, comes in red hot after becoming just the fourth MLB team ever to rally from an 0–2 deficit and win a best-of-five postseason series.

Come watch every pitch at Walk-On’s with:

📺 70+ TVs
🍔 Made-from-scratch Louisiana food
🍻 Ice-cold drinks
🌙 Late Night drink specials

And we’ve got $5 drink specials throughout the series:

🍹 Monday — $5 Margaritas
🍸 Tuesday — $5 Tito’s drinks
🥃 Thursday — $5 Crown Royal & Jameson drinks, all flavors

🏆 AND IN CASE YOU MISSED IT — TAMPA BAY JUST VOTED WALK-ON’S:

🥇 Best Chicken Sandwich
🥇 Best Po’ Boy
🥇 Best Cajun Dish
🥈 #2 Best Sports Bar
🥈 #2 Best Happy Hour

Not a bad place to watch playoff baseball. 😏

🏆 TAMPA BAY — YOU SHOWED US A LOT OF LOVE, AND WE’RE INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL. 🏆

With roughly 1.6 MILLION votes cast in this year’s Creative Loafing Best of the Bay, being recognized like this is a pretty big deal.

Walk-On’s earned THREE 1st Place wins:

🥇 Best Chicken Sandwich
🥇 Best Cajun Dish
🥇 Best Po’ Boy

And Tampa Bay also voted us:

🥈 #2 Best Happy Hour
🥈 #2 Best Sports Bar

To be recognized in these categories alongside so many outstanding restaurants and bars throughout the Tampa Bay area is a huge honor. There is some seriously great competition in this market, and being mentioned among that group makes these awards mean even more to us.

But the biggest thank-you goes to YOU.

To everyone who comes in for our made-from-scratch food, meets friends for Happy Hour, spends game day with us, brings in the family, or simply chooses Walk-On’s when you’re deciding where to go — thank you for supporting us and our team.

Three #1 finishes. Two more Top-2 finishes. One very grateful Walk-On’s family. ❤️🏆

Tampa Bay, thank you for the love!
