Today a couple driving a white Ford Expedition was asking about the heirloom Tomatoes. I went to the patch and got a few more.They had left when I got back. But here is the answer to the question. Hopefully they will see this.

The Heirlooms are Ox Heart Tomatoes, German Johnson, Morgage lifters, and Purple Cherokee. These Heirlooms are coming to end of the season. We should have some tomatoes still that we grew , but they will be smaller ones and they are beefsteak and celebrity.

Of course we will have the bigger tomatoes that come from the Farmers Market.

Shaw loves to help his Daddy. He begs to go out as soon as his feet hit the floor. He wants to help do everything.

No matter if he grows up and wants to just grow him and his family a small garden or wants to make a way of life with it. I hope he always remembers the fun times he had with his Daddy and Papa on our farm.

Fun week for Michael, Seth and part of our Grandsons.

Saturday five of them were here and they helped their Papa get a load off for Mr. Rudolph. Mr. Rudolph has been buying Watermelons since we started back growing Watermelons 7 years ago.

It has been a busy couple of days! Michael is tired , but I know his heart is full!!! Two generations in the field with him.

First picture is Dandy and Shaw headed back to the house for something to drink. They would stay and an hour , and come in for about 30 minutes, and head back out for and hour or so.

Glover and Reed helped Monday, & Tuesday with Cantaloupes and Reed was working hard on Wednesday and Friday.

Gabe brought some of his Football teammates out Monday , but we didn’t get a picture. They had a good afternoon though.

Friday and Saturday Gabe was busting it! He even discovered if you cut a big water melon into and put it in grocery bags, it makes a great way to work out your arms!

Shaw even got in on the tossing melons this morning and brought him one into the house that was just his size. He also helped Papa stock the stand!
