If there is no response to the quote within 24 hours, the hold on the date will be released. Please try to place your orders at least TWO WEEKS prior to the date needed. All orders require a non-refundable deposit. The amount of the deposit will be applied to your order total. Deposits are due 48 hours after accepting the quote:
Orders less than $100 require a $15 deposit. Orders of $100 or more r
equire a 25% deposit. Full payment is due 7 days prior to order pickup.
***Should the order need to be canceled or rescheduled, any amount paid will go towards the next order if made within 45 days of cancellation***

Orders placed 7 days or less in advance will be assessed a Rush fee not exceeding $25. Full payments for rush orders are due at the time the order is placed. Disclaimer: Velvety Cakes is not responsible for orders once the customer takes possession. Please transport cake on a flat surface such as the floor of a vehicle. Do not place the cake on a seat or hold it during transport. Please do not leave cake inside of a vehicle... especially during summer months. Please avoid heavy braking, and drive cautiously to ensure your cake arrives in the condition it left. Depending on demand, delivery is available. Delivery is $30 within a 20 mile radius.
