A family near and dear to the Defiant family’s heart recently lost their home in the Alton fire. While we are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely, they now face the unimaginable task of rebuilding after losing so much.
Starting Tuesday, Defiant will be accepting donations for the family’s two young girls, ages 11 and 4. New toys (hello kitty lovers, squishies, coloring books, lps), clothing: girls med/8-10 and kids size 5, gift cards, art supplies, comfort items, and other essentials are all welcome. A donation area will be set up inside the shop.
In addition, this Thursday, June 11th, both Defiant Records & Craft Beer and The Candy Bar will donate 10% of all food and beverage sales to help support the family as they begin to put the pieces back together.
Our community has always shown up when it matters most, and we’re hopeful we can do that once again for a family that means so much to us.
